The New Orleans Girls Club (NOGC) approached us with a request for a comprehensive professional review and a complete redesign of their existing Squarespace website. In addition to this, they sought assistance with various IT-related issues concerning their email services and needed expert consulting on establishing and implementing a membership program through their website. Although the NOGC had a basic design already in place, they recognized the need for a professional touch to elevate their online presence.

They specifically wanted to retain the contemporary and spacious feel that characterized their original site. We embraced this vision in our redesign while also noting that their existing colour palette was limited to hot pink, black, and white. To enhance the visual appeal and break up the extensive white space, we introduced additional shades of pink, creating a more dynamic and engaging aesthetic. Furthermore, we incorporated animated background sections in strategic places to enrich the overall quality of the design. Cover images were added to every page, ensuring a cohesive design language that would resonate with their visitors.

In our thorough review of the images provided by the NOGC, we selected the most fitting visuals that complemented the website's content. This selective approach not only broke up large sections of text but also allowed us to diversify the layout from a single column to two or three columns in places, keeping the site looking fresh and avoiding repetitiveness.

We also dedicated time to designing a new page specifically for their membership offerings. This page was carefully crafted to present the benefits of membership in an easily digestible format, effectively encouraging interested users to sign up for more information. Beyond the redesign of each page, we provided assistance with their Google Workspace. This included adding additional domains to their accounts and fine-tuning advanced settings to optimize their email functionality.

Moreover, we consulted with the NOGC team on email marketing strategies, offering valuable recommendations on where to begin their efforts in this area. To ensure a seamless user experience, we integrated their new membership platform into their Squarespace website, meticulously configuring its branding to align with the newly redesigned site. This integration was crucial in providing a unified and cohesive design for their members.
