The Decora Company approached us with a request for a talented web designer to enhance the overall aesthetics and user experience of their website. Recognizing that their primary offerings consist of paints and painting tools, we identified a crucial opportunity: instead of merely promoting the products themselves, we needed to highlight the creative possibilities that these tools and paints could unlock for the customers. This refreshing perspective resonated deeply with the client, who was eager to let us take the reins in revamping his website. Our team drew upon our proven expertise to help him effectively communicate the advantages of his high-quality products.

For the website’s theme, we selected a compact design focused on facilitating a seamless shopping experience. A prominently placed search bar at the top and center of the menu was implemented, encouraging customers to quickly find exactly what they were looking for. Behind the scenes, we meticulously ensured that all product listings incorporated relevant keywords that potential customers might use, optimizing the search function to deliver precise results.

Moreover, we aimed to enhance the product page further by incorporating additional coding to reposition customer reviews below the product images. This strategic move not only utilized the available white space more effectively but also aimed to instill confidence in customers through user-generated reviews that we automated for easy collection. These testimonials were designed to assist shoppers in making quick and informed purchasing decisions.

In our design approach, we also reimagined the primary images displayed on both the collection and product pages. Rather than using standard images of paint cans, which would appear very similar across different products, we opted for lifestyle images that showcased the potential applications of the products. This change was essential in providing customers with a vivid understanding of what the products could achieve.

We also provided valuable assistance to the client in enhancing the on-page SEO of his website. This improvement involved a more strategic utilization of the keywords we had previously integrated into the back end through the search feature. As a result, this optimization not only boosts the website's visibility but also enables customers to find his site more easily and directly through various search engines. By focusing on these keywords, we aimed to significantly enhance the website's search engine ranking and overall user experience.

As Decora did not have access to high-quality stock images previously, we took the initiative to source these images for him. This step was vital in enhancing the overall visual design and appeal of the website. The client was extremely pleased with the results of our redesign, leading him to commission us for assistance with other business websites he has launched since we completed the project for The Decora Company.
