Ongoing Shopify Client
My Urban Trail has long been a cherished dream of our client, who envisioned creating a vibrant and engaging online presence for her unique products. Initially, she began her entrepreneurial journey by selling her offerings from pop-up stalls in shopping malls. However, her aspirations soon led her to seek a broader audience, prompting her to make the significant leap into the online marketplace. Recognising the potential to reach more customers, she approached us upon the recommendation of an agency she had previously collaborated with. She sought our expertise to guide her in establishing her online presence, specifically in understanding the necessary content and imagery requirements.
To begin, we meticulously reviewed all the content and examples of websites that resonated with her in terms of design. Based on this analysis, we recommended a Shopify theme that perfectly aligned with her vision. This theme not only addressed all her functional needs but also showcased a simple yet captivating design, allowing the stunning images she had commissioned to take centre stage. Understanding that a substantial portion of her customer demographic is middle-aged, we prioritised a user-friendly layout that would ensure ease of navigation for all users, whether they were browsing on desktop or mobile devices.
In addition to selecting the ideal theme, we implemented a variety of apps on her Shopify site to enhance the functionality of the store. One notable addition was a size guide app, which enabled our client to provide detailed specifications for specific products, allowing customers to easily convert measurements from centimetres to inches. This thoughtful feature greatly supports shoppers in making informed decisions. We also integrated an upsell app, designed to suggest product bundles and related items that our client wanted to promote, thereby encouraging customers to explore more and ultimately increasing the average order value.
Moreover, the implementation of a wishlist feature allows customers to save items for future purchases, adding a layer of convenience to their shopping experience. We also introduced a loyalty app, which rewards customers with points for their purchases and other actions, enabling them to redeem these points for discounts on future orders. This not only fosters customer loyalty but also enhances overall engagement with the brand.
Thanks to our client's unwavering passion and excellent communication throughout the project, we successfully delivered the website ahead of the proposed deadline, resulting in immense satisfaction on her part. Since the launch of My Urban Trail’s website, we have continued to provide ad-hoc services, assisting with ongoing improvements and updates to the site. This includes adding new functionalities and apps over the years, all aimed at optimising user experience, increasing conversion rates, and improving site speed.
Overall, our client is exceedingly pleased with our collaboration, and her store has blossomed from a humble passion project into a thriving business. She has now built a dedicated team to assist with order fulfilment and has successfully expanded her reach by fostering a community of customers. This includes organising free events that encourage customer participation, further strengthening the bond between her brand and its audience.
