Metri Holliday approached us with a clear vision: she sought a comprehensive redesign of her Shopify website. With extensive experience in the fashion industry, she had a strong understanding of her products but felt overwhelmed by the complexities of web design. Recognising the importance of having a captivating online presence, she desired a skilled professional to help her create a website that was not only visually engaging but also optimised for conversion.

Our first step was to thoroughly review the existing copywriting, images, and product offerings on her website. We collaborated closely with Metri to select a theme that would reflect timeless elegance while incorporating a contemporary feel, allowing her stunning product photography to take centre stage. This careful selection process was essential to ensure that the website would resonate with her target audience.

In addition to the aesthetic elements, we focused on enhancing the navigation and overall user journey. Noticing that her competitors were missing opportunities to educate their customers on innovative and unique ways to wear their scarves, we recognised this as a gap in the market. We crafted additional pages dedicated to providing valuable styling tips and ideas, showcasing the versatility of Metri's unique pieces of art. This approach not only encouraged customers to get more use out of their purchases but also aimed to alleviate any potential buyer's remorse, especially considering that these high-quality items come with a premium price tag.

While building the store, we made extensive use of Shopify's metafields feature. This allowed us to develop each product page into a rich landing page that included additional features, images, and videos beyond the initial buy box and product gallery. This comprehensive approach enhanced the premium look and feel of the website and provided browsing customers with a deeper understanding of the many uses for each product, ultimately fostering a seamless user experience that increased conversion rates.

Furthermore, we integrated additional applications to bolster the store's functionality. One key addition was an automated review generation app that sends emails to customers once their products are delivered, inviting them to share their feedback. This not only assists future customers in their purchasing decisions but also generates user-generated content, ensuring the website remains fresh and engaging.

Once the initial design was finalised, we conducted a thorough review of all the content across the various pages. Our goal was to ensure that the headings incorporated keywords that we had meticulously researched, keywords frequently used by customers seeking high-end fashion products, particularly within the niche of scarves and accessories. This involved extensive research on the fashion industry and Metri's competitors, which we then implemented across the website's headings, page titles, URLs, and meta descriptions. As a result, Metri Holliday's site began to rank exceptionally well within her competitive niche.

In addition to the website design, we assisted Metri in developing a cohesive branding palette that featured complementary colours, creating a visually appealing contrast throughout the site. This was crucial not only for the website but also for her broader branding strategy.

Beyond the website redesign, Metri Holliday enlisted our services to enhance her email marketing efforts. She wanted to ensure that the branding and design elements we had established on her website were seamlessly translated into her email marketing campaigns.
