Ongoing Shopify Client

DC Fridge approached us as a client who was thoroughly disappointed with the work of his previous web designer. The designer had built an e-commerce site for him on WordPress, which failed to deliver. The design did not meet his expectations, and many features relied heavily on apps that needed constant updates to function. This led to frequent breakdowns, forcing him to constantly monitor his website to ensure it worked properly.

We proposed migrating his content and products to Shopify, which does not suffer from these issues and offers additional functionality, such as inventory management advanced shipping settings and much more. Shopify is designed as an e-commerce platform from the start, unlike WordPress which is why we prefer use it for all our e-commerce clients.

We started the project carefully exporting DC Fridge's extensive product catalogue to Shopify and spent considerable time reviewing and improving the product descriptions to help him quickly become the leading website for DC appliances in Australia.

We also leveraged his extensive industry knowledge to identify and target relevant keywords that customers would use to search for these products, helping him rank at the top of organic search results and continually drive traffic to his website. Additionally, we optimized the product pages to create longer, landing page-style designs that highlight his additional services, such as installation and repairs. We crafted his About Us page to showcase his expertise, instilling confidence in customers that they were buying from someone who cared deeply about the appliances he sold, just as they cared about their caravan, RV, or boat—a passionate demographic.

Furthermore, we aimed to add apps to the website that would assist him in automatically sending review request emails to all his customers. This would help future customers benefit from the excellent reviews he has earned through his hard work and outstanding customer service. Since our initial work with DC Fridge, we have redesigned his website several times while staying within his budget. We have also continued to optimize the SEO of his website and assisted him in adding new products as he expands his offerings.
