Darzi approached us as a well-established business eager to elevate their online presence, aiming to better resonate with their target demographic that has grown accustomed to a more sophisticated level of design and branding than what they previously utilized. To kick off the project, we meticulously reviewed their existing branding, enhancing it by incorporating additional complementary colours into their palette. We also selected new fonts that would be more fitting for the headings and body text, ensuring these choices accurately represented their products and overall aesthetic.
As we delved into the web design process, we opted for a theme that encapsulated contemporary design principles while prioritizing the homepage. This space was designed to narrate Darzi's story compellingly, as well as to effectively showcase the diverse range of product categories available. Our goal was to provide customers with easy access to the extensive variety of clothing offered, all while highlighting the stunning imagery that sets the scene for potential buyers, immersing them in the lifestyle that their clothing promotes.
No page was overlooked in our design; we ensured that beautiful images adorned every corner of the website to reflect the premium quality of Darzi's products and the timeless lifestyle they embody. In addition to refining the website and branding, we extended our services by providing consulting to the client. Drawing on our extensive experience with Shopify apps, we guided them in selecting the most suitable applications to automate review generation, implement pop-ups and offers, and enhance their sustainability efforts with every order placed.
We also took advantage of Shopify's metafields feature, allowing us to present additional content on product pages that went beyond standard descriptions. This included crucial details about key product features and care instructions, enhancing the shopping experience. Moreover, we made effective use of the colour swatch feature available in their chosen theme, facilitating an easy filtering process for customers seeking specific colours. Each product page was further enriched with links to related products, and we added extra sections to create engaging landing pages that narrate what makes their offerings unique and of high quality. It was essential to highlight that their products are made in the UK and that they provide free shipping and returns, thus ensuring customers feel confident in their purchasing decisions.
To wrap up the project, we focused on improving the website's search engine optimization (SEO). This included the strategic addition of keywords, enhancing headings, and refining product, page, and collection descriptions and titles. These improvements were aimed at ensuring search engines accurately match customer searches with their website. Recently, we also integrated a size guide app, which allows them to provide detailed measurements for each product in a user-friendly manner, easily convertible from centimetres to inches based on customer preference.
