Custom Webflow Website
This project employed a comprehensive, multi-stage approach to seamlessly translate the newly designed logo for the Country Change business into a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing design language for the new custom Webflow website we were commissioned to design and build.
The client's previous website was built on WordPress. We took the initiative to repurpose their existing content while creating a completely redesigned layout. This new design was carefully crafted and initially mocked up in Figma, which allowed for client approval before we built the website on Webflow. They wanted something unique to their business and content.
In crafting the new site, we made a deliberate choice to incorporate a significant amount of the iconography derived from the tree in the client's logo. Additionally, we introduced several supplementary graphic elements, including topographic assets, to enhance the overall visual appeal of the website. This project also necessitated the integration of Zapier, which we used to dynamically populate the jobs page with an RSS feed sourced from a regional Australian jobs website. This integration was crucial for surfacing local job opportunities in the various regions featured on the website, thereby further assisting users in transitioning to a rural lifestyle.
Furthermore, we ensured that all blog posts and the sitemap structure were carefully migrated to the new website. To maintain the integrity of their search engine optimization (SEO), we implemented redirects for all existing links, ensuring that users could effortlessly find their way to the new content without losing any valuable traffic.
In addition to the comprehensive Web Design services we have provided for Country Change, we have also taken on the significant responsibility of creating their quarterly digital magazine. This length, design heavy publication is meticulously crafted and distributed to their valued customers and stakeholders, ensuring that essential information and engaging content reach the audience effectively.
