Caligo is an exciting new retail venture launched by a client eager to transform their deep-seated passion for clothing design into a thriving business. With limited experience in the realm of web design, they sought our expertise to help them navigate the process of selecting an appropriate theme that would align with their specific criteria. Moreover, they requested our skills in building a visually appealing and functional website that would remain within their tight budget, given that they were just starting their journey in the competitive fashion industry.

The client expressed a strong desire for a clean and simple aesthetic that would also facilitate an exceptional customer journey, ensuring that users would enjoy a seamless experience from the moment they began scrolling through the homepage all the way to the final checkout process. To enhance this experience, they had already made a worthwhile investment in high-quality photography and engaging videos showcasing their products. We took full advantage of these assets to focus on visual storytelling, ultimately crafting a premium-looking website that would entice customers to shop confidently.

Additionally, we incorporated Shopify's metafields feature to enhance the functionality of their product pages. This integration allowed us to link complementary products together, making it easy for customers to select matching items, such as a shirt and shorts, to create a fashionable outfit perfect for their next vacation or date night.

Another significant feature that the customer requested us to implement was the integration of Shopify's Marketplace functionality. This enhancement would enable them to take full advantage of the various distribution locations that Shopify offers. By leveraging this feature, they can effectively stock and fulfill inventory for their customers situated in diverse locations around the globe, enhancing their ability to meet customer needs with greater efficiency and reach.

Following the successful launch of the initial website, Caligo returned to us with a request for further website development work. They wanted to create specific sections throughout the site that would leverage the metafields feature even more effectively. This enhancement would enable them to upload additional videos or images directly to their product pages, allowing for a more comprehensive showcase of their offerings. By utilizing the extended product pages we designed, each product could effectively function as a landing page, providing customers with all the necessary information they need to make informed purchasing decisions with confidence.
